Day Nine: Wordplay

In so many words

I love Typography.

A simple definition comes from wikipedia :

Typography (from the Greek words τύπος(typos) = form and γραφή(graphy) = writing) is the art and technique of arranging type, type design, and modifying type glyphs.

So it is the arrangement of fonts and font sizes and placements to make an artwork/ image.

This took me three hours using Photoshop. It is my first real try with the art format. The concept, of course, was to make a sacred heart out of all the feelings, emotions and thoughts that go through our own human hearts. Some of them are ugly and embarrassing, some are heartfelt and happy and some are just plain good thoughts that we all have.

I have fallen in love with the art form and I will be employing it again for sure. That is the best part of this project is you are pushing yourself to try new things and it may be something you really want to do again.
