My son is the King of Legos. If you didn’t know that, now you do.
He has about 6 million Legos; give or take a million. I lost count around 4 million. Let’s just say he has a lot. When a new Lego kit is released, he begs to get it. He doesn’t play with these creations once they are completed, either. His joy lies in putting them together. It’s the assembly that gets him excited.
I like to think he got this from me.
Now I am not a puzzler but I have to be doing something with my hands. Knitting, cross stitching, painting, crafting – SOMETHING, ANYTHING so I am not just sitting there doing…well…nothing. This is one of the many reasons why this 365 project suits me just fine. I can think of something everyday to keep my hands (and brain) occupied.
You know what they say…Idle hands are the Devil’s playthings…
Well here is my Lego Sacred Heart. It was deemed “Cool” by the Lego King so I figure I am doing okay. It was fun to make because it’s always fun to play with toys. It was fun to use the King’s toy of choice because it’s always fun to please the King.
Yep. This was a good one.
Long Live The King!
